Recipes for People Who Have Food Allergies

Some of the common causes of food allergies in adults are shellfish, eggs, tree nuts, fish and peanuts. Children  usually have food allergies from peanuts, milk and eggs.  What can these people do?

There are no cures for people who have food allergies today. The only thing they could do is to avoid intake of foods which makes them allergic or what is termed as “allergens.” To prevent episodes of food allergy attacks, it is essential to prepare the food that will be eaten by allergy-sensitive people with utmost care.

The following are some of  the recipes which you can cook which avoids many of the “allergens.”

Egg-free Diet

Some people who eat proteins from eggs suffer from egg allergy. To avoid this,

  • stay away from prepared foods with albumin, egg, and other egg substitutes as ingredients.
  • use different egg substitute in your cooking recipe such as puree from apricot, plain gelatin with warm water and a mixture of baking powder, vinegar and liquid.
  • be sure to check the appropriate amount of each item before you prepare the above-mentioned substitutes.

Peanut-free Diet

If you have peanut allergies, you should avoid all kinds of nut including foods prepared with “peanut protein.” Some of the peanut-free recipes you can try are:

Milk-free Diet
